Fuel Management Systems
The Fuelfix safe system of work is known as ‘LEARN Safe’.
LEARN Safe and associated contractual obligations, legislation, codes of practice, guidelines and procedures provide the imperatives for developing the expected working behaviours and safe work practices for our employees and contractors, whether it be at our own operating locations or working on, or visiting, project sites or our customers’ premises.
A core principle is to develop a culture that encourages open thinking, clarity of roles and responsibilities at all levels and empowerment of individuals.
Our people are held accountable for their responsibilities as outlined in our safe system of work. Performance is measured and the results used to demonstrate continuous improvement.
A positive safety culture is the foundation on which the Fuelfix safety leadership is built and is characterised by the elements of LEARN Safe.
Safe Load Program
The Safe Load program™ (SLP) initiative promotes and supports the safety of people, equipment and facilities under the operational control of member companies – Shell Australia, BP Australia and Caltex Australia.
Fuelfix & Tanks2Go are an approved inspection location and provide inspection services for bulk fuel carriers that require access to participating oil industry facilities. The aim of the Pass-2-Load program is to ensure that bulk fuel road tankers regularly complete a set of Oil industry `best practice’ safety checks.
Fuelfix & Tanks2Go are members of The Petroleum Industry Contractors Association in Western Australia (PICA WA) whose objective is to supply the petroleum and chemical industries with the very best service, equipment and information. PICA was founded in 1986 to provide a dependable body for the contractors and manufacturers who provided specialist services and products to the major oil companies and is a nationally recognised body.
