The Project
The facility is fully self-bunded with the use of double skinned containerized tanks. Fuelfix & Tanks2Go used an alternative underground poly piping called the “FlexWorks System”. The benefit with this system is it is installed within access piping which is also contained and linked to the transitional sumps with duel sided entry fittings. This allows, if for any reason, new inner FlexWorks piping to be reinstalled/replaced without the need to dig up and re-lay concrete or earthworks. Fuelfix & Tanks2Go also installed Auto Tank Gauge (ATG) system complete with line leak detection and leak monitoring. This ATG system offers URL, Cloud based access, configuration and system alarm, fault monitoring and diagnosis. The installation team spent just 12 days on site during the project. A real example of how a system upgrade was undertaken by the Fuelfix & Tanks2Go team with no interruption to the current operation. Fuelfix & Tanks2Go specialized “Inspection Toolbox” App was used to capture visual media, record and generate site commissioning and inspection report. We take the time to understand customers’ business requirements from the outset and deliver the best fuel management solutions to customers.

Specifications
Four existing containerized 70KL self bunded diesel storage tanks were upgraded with Submersible Turbine Pumps (STP) installed in parallel supplying two diesel dispensers on a remote dispenser island. A new 10,000L AdBlue storage tank was supplied and installed with an underground supply line to an AdBlue dispenser also located on the remote dispenser island.
- The Dispensers and OPT units were installed on a fully bunded and buried spill grate “dispenser island” under a protective canopy.
- Two additional adjacent spill grates were installed and Bollards provided to protect the dispensing area.
- The existing bare earth site required preparation including trenching for underground “FlexWorks” piping, communication and power cables.
- This was achieved without interruptions to the current diesel supply (Bulk loading and dispensing into and out of the storage tanks) by PUMA.
