At a Glance

Tricia Welsh is the Chief Executive Officer of Fuelfix since 2022, leading the company’s strategic direction and growth across Australia’s resources sector.

As a recognised leader in the fuel and energy industry, Tricia writes about fuel management, energy infrastructure, operational efficiency, business leadership and industry trends with a particular focus on the realities facing companies operating in remote and demanding environments. Her insights are grounded in real-world experience gained through working alongside customers, partners and industry stakeholders across Australia.

Who is Tricia Welsh?

Tricia joined Fuelfix in 2009 as Finance Manager, became Chief Financial Officer in 2014, and was appointed CEO in 2022. Few executives see a business from that many angles, and it shapes how she reads a customer's problem. A fuel management issue is rarely just a fuel management issue; it shows up in downtime, in compliance exposure, in capital that's tied up in the wrong place.

That commercial lens is what she brings to the mining, construction, industrial and commercial businesses Fuelfix works with.

Across her time in the business, Fuelfix has grown from a regional fuel solutions provider into a national integrated energy solutions company. Tricia's writing draws on that firsthand experience rather than industry theory, providing valuable insight into how organisations can improve operational performance while adapting to changing industry demands.
